# Add Mashups or Custom Links to the navigation menu

If you want to link Mashups or a Custom Link on the Navigation Menu, the process is very similar to linking regular Qlik Sense Apps. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Content tab on the NewHub admin.
2. Find the Mashups Tab and click on it
3. Associate the Mashup on the list to a Group and if necessary a SubGroup
4. Make sure you select a Stream to which you want the Mashup to be displayed. This field is mandatory
5. Select the “Source app” from which the Mashup pulls data from on a QVF. This field is also mandatory.
6. If you want to display a Card on the Homepage, check the “Home” circle and determine its colours.

To work with custom Links, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Content tab on the NewHub admin.
2. Find the Links Tab and click on it
3. Create a Name (mandatory), Description (optional), and URL (mandatory) for your custom link.
 1. Note: This link can be anything you want, as long as it is web based (it has a URL readable by a browser) and the hosting link can be embedded inside another server (the link server needs to have your Qlik Server whitelisted for this to work)
4. Associate the Link you created on the list to a Group and if necessary a SubGroup
5. Make sure you select a Stream to which you want the Link to be displayed. This filed is mandatory
6. If you want to display a Card on the Homepage, check the “Home” circle and determine its colours
